How many weeks?: 38 weeks, CRAZY!
Countdown: 14 days or less! (Hopefully less of course)
Total weight gain/loss: Up about 60 lbs. Am I done gaining weight yet? I think the last 8-10 lbs is all the swelling that I've all of a sudden been experiencing. Especially in my legs. It's getting painful.
Exercise Habits: I've been doing pretty good! I get at least 15 minutes in most every day, whether it is walking or actually going to the gym. I hit my 12 times that I need to attend the gym this month to be reimbursed, so that was pretty awesome.
Sleeping?: Waking up to use the bathroom every hour and a half to two hours. The stretches where I actually go 3 hours are rare and very much awesome.
Best Moment since last update: The doctor telling me yesterday that he is estimating the baby's weight between 7.5 and 8 lbs if I make it to 40 weeks. I was prepping myself mentally for a 9 pounder, soooo this was pretty much the best news ever! (I'm still mentally prepared for that, just in case, but the fact that he doesn't think that will happen was a great relief.) Also, all the wonderful friends and family that supported me at my baby showers and all the baby gifts we got :)
Worst Moment since last update: my appointment yesterday was mostly depressing. My blood pressure was super high and he told me that if it is much higher next week they will probably induce (which is good/bad news, I really wanted to start labor on my own this time around). Also, I'm not dilated at all yet but am thinning out. Come on body get ready! Mom and Dad sure are...
I miss...: Laying on my stomach or back. Being able to run and jump and swim and hike and all that other stuff I like to do.
I'm going to miss...: People telling me how cute I look. It does wonders for my self esteem, especially when I feel like an overfilled balloon. At least other people think I'm a cute (pregnant) girl. Also going to miss having pregnancy as an excuse. It's great haha. Going to miss feeling my little guy move around inside. It is kind of fun to have that constant reminder that he is mine.
I'm NOT going to miss... The emotional ups and downs. I'm getting pretty good at holding back tears, most of the time. Poor Sean, they are usually unleashed on him (not at him, I'm just not embarrassed to cry in front of him). Not going to miss the waddling and the pain of moving around in general. Not going to miss the swelling and the achiness that brings. Not going to miss peeing in a cup every week haha.
Movement: All the time. He usually starts moving around when I am starting to get hungry. Or when he is getting hungry I guess. 3am he usually starts going crazy.
Morning Sickness?: I've been getting little bouts of nausea lately. Nothing horrible like in the first trimester, but it is there.
Food Cravings: Ice cream. I always want ice cream. Saturday we stopped at Walmart to buy vanilla ice cream and m&m's because Dairy Queen wasn't where it was supposed to be...
Food Aversions: Soups still. It is the weirdest thing. Fish (except for canned tuna).
Labor signs: Braxton Hicks contractions over the last couple weeks. Yesterday was the first day I have had back labor, alternating with contractions. That was interesting. Hopefully they keep coming!
Moods: Super emotional mood swings, some anti-socialness. I try to get passed being anti-social because being out of the house passes the time faster.
Not Looking Forward to: The anticipation of "are these real contractions?"
Looking Forward To: Actually having this baby! I'm super excited that I won't have to carry him around with me all day every day. Sean can finally have a turn! Also excited to have my mom here for a week to help out.

Thankful Thursday 6/27
-Thankful for haircuts. It feels so good to get your hair washed and you aren't the one putting forth the effort haha. Of course, me not putting forth effort is my ultimate goal right now...
-Thankful for our Pass of All Passes and that I can go to Seven Peaks whenever I want. Like today right after work.
-Thankful that Sean got an A in his English class last term. Smarty pants!
-Thankful for modern medicine; mostly looking ahead to the epidural in the next week or two.
-Thankful for my OB. He has been so great and I love that I don't have to wait for hours and hours to get into an appointment.
-Thankful for sleep. Although I'm not getting a lot (it seems), I know I will be even more grateful for it soon.
-Thankful that my work days have been going by pretty quickly. It helps with the whole time passing until the baby is here thing. I think I would die if I was at home all day long just waiting for the baby to come.
-Thankful for ice cream and my husband for giving in to my ridiculous cravings. PS does anyone know when the Dairy Queen in Springville got switched to an Arby's?? (By Walmart.) That came as a huge shock the other day when I wanted DQ and it wasn't there anymore...

Thankful Thursday
- Thankful that work has been busy enough that the days go by pretty quickly.
- Thankful for ward softball; always a good laugh! We love our ward.
- Thankful that Sean made it through his English class alive this term. And that his teacher fed his class pizza for lunch yesterday. One less meal I had to worry about ;)
- Thankful for my coworker, Stacy, for adopting my beta fish. Down to one pet. Much less stressful. Except I got rid of the less stressful one haha.
- Thankful that my due date is in 3 weeks. And that if I start contracting they won't stop it. Finally to that point!
- Thankful for my sister's good news! So excited for my little guy to have a cousin close in age to him. Praying you guys get a boy!
- Thankful that my neighbors/landlords let us use their washer and dryer. Totally amazing not having to go to a laundromat. Especially since in a few weeks our laundry is basically going to double.
- Thankful that I have a pediatrician now! My baby checklist is getting smaller.
- Thankful for Cameron, even though he didn't say goodbye to us, for keeping my husband entertained from CA, and then hopefully from Thailand. At least he'll be back for the baby blessing... (We're planning on Labor Day weekend if anyone is wondering.)

Eviction Notice
Dear Baby Boy Parker:
Consider this to be your 30 day eviction notice. You hereby have 30 days in which to prepare yourself fully to embrace the world outside my uterus. It is a wonderful world in which I (your mother), your father, your grandparents, cousin, and many doting aunts and uncles are waiting anxiously to meet you. Please do not prolong the inevitable for very long. We love you and cannot wait to hold you.
Yours truly,
Mom
P.S. With a doctor's note, you may be granted an extra week. But that is all.
P.P.S. We promise to have a name for you when you decide to come. It will not be Peter.

Thankful Thursday 6/6
-Thankful that I have lots of other moms to get pre-labor advice from. This is going to be a whole new experience...
-Thankful for my family reunion this summer. Even if I can't do a whole ton (seeing as how it is the day after my due date) I'm still excited to see people!
-Thankful for my mother-in-law helping Sean with his English assignments this term. It's no secret that I am awful at English...
-Thankful for good friends that I can go weeks or months without speaking to and text them out of the blue like it's been no time at all.
-Thankful for my baby boy reminding me constantly that he is alive, even if it happens the most at 3am...

Easter Sunday 2013
Yes I know it's been a couple months. But I finally remembered to get the pictures from my mother-in-law's computer. We had a great Easter Sunday! We started out by going to church, and then headed down to Sean's parents for dinner. We also some family pictures.
Eve told him to pick up that stick. And she found one for herself.
The Easter Egg Hunt:
(I helped hide, which was a lot easier than bending down and reaching up to find)
I love this picture of my sister-in-law
Then we took some random pictures. I tried to get Sean to take some actual good pictures.
But he didn't.
So I started tickling him. Apparently I'm the only one with the ability to do so.
After all the eggs were picked up, Eve kept wandering around looking for more. So, we threw some back on the grass where she could pick more up. We also did that inside with her a few times over the following weeks.
What a doll!
