Aquarium Trip 9/19/15

For my birthday back in April, Sean's mom kept asking what I wanted and I couldn't think of anything, so I decided I wanted a trip to the aquarium for me, Sean and Mason. I went home for my brother's homecoming soon after, and then right after that found out I was pregnant, and put myself on "activity rest" since I was spotting and didn't want to miscarry. After a busy summer of visits from family, holidays, and moving, we finally found some time to go! Mason and I went with my mom when she visited in June, and I was excited to go back with Sean. We went to Burger King for lunch after with Mason's birthday gift card, and Mason went a little crazy with the stickers...

Love my little (growing) family!

Summer 2015

We had a very lazy/busy summer! We didn't really go on any trips, but we did lots of little things (mostly the Rec center and parks). We also moved from Provo down to Springville to be closer to Sean's job. We like our new apartment (just wish it had AC) and love our new ward. I got put in as the Mia Maids advisor in the Young Women's in our ward. Sean still doesn't have a calling, even though our bishop told him it would be coming soon.

Anyway, here is a bunch of pictures that sum our our summer (minus what has already been blogged about).

What you DON'T wear stickers on your head?
Thanks Disney for sending me stickers every 3 months!

Lounger

We spent a lot of time at the rec center and Mason's hair always looked awesome after!

Cousin time! My kid, my cousin Kelly's 4 (and her husband), and my cousin Jen and her two boys.

This is how we calm our screaming child in the grocery store.
Toddlers are REALLY good at being toddlers we have discovered.

Playing with our friend Bentley! They decided putting (they weren't throwing, just placing) mulch on each other's heads would be super fun!

The one rainy day this summer, we went puddle jumping!

Swinging while Dad played soccer with some friends

Birthday presents. Spiderman pj's and big baby Iron Man. He's kissing IM goodnight

Our niece Violet in Sean's hat

Playing kitchen/restaurant with cousins Eve and Violet

We went to see The Wizard Of Oz at Sundance! Sean's dad helps build the set and the show is always fantastic, a highlight of our summers! We will miss going when we move for grad school.

Mason and Oakley both wanting to sit in the stroller...

Cute cousins reading, making Aunt Jenny proud!

Mason and Michael. They play so well together (most of the time, they are two..)

Licorice treat with dad!

Sean's Aunt Karen sent some toys that her boys don't play with anymore (they are in high school and college). Mason loves that little bike.

Setting up the bed in the new apartment. There is something funny under the sheet...

We found the silly hat box!

Hidden gem; there is a creek running right through the middle of Springville!
Mason loves watching the water for a minute when we are out walking.

Springville's splash pad is the most awesome!

We explored the "Springville Beach"; it is super cool! The water is freezing so beware.

Bubble soccer for a friend's 40th party! We love and miss our Orem ward!

Mason thrives being outside. Why does it have to be so hot? (Pregnant mama woes)

New pajamas! He loves these, he picked them out himself!

Burger King lunch date with my little prince :)

Hi Mom!

Popsicles were the most constant thing in our house this summer.

Cute cousins at the park!

Petting zoo at Seven Peaks during my company's summer party!

Tim came over to use our oven for a lunch date he went on, he made yummy pizza!
Then we took him to Cracker Barrel for dinner!

This is obvs the best way to drink juice...

We watched my cousin David's kids while his wife had baby #4. We had a great time!
Christianne came down to relieve me; her baby Nora is THE CUTEST! I'm seriously obsessed.

First haircut in a year and a half... oops! I took off 5 inches

"Ta-da!" No prompting from me...

We love the park! We found a great one that is almost completely shaded during the afternoon/evenings.

Lunch date for Mom and Dad! I cut Sean's hair and then joked about cutting Mason's, and then I did! I really miss those cute curls but I love how it looks cut.

The little playground inside the rec center is awesome!

These cute cousins!! We love ice cream haha

My good friend Rachel came to town and we got to do a girl's night at the temple! Rachel and I worked together at Career Step for a few years together. We have tons in common and we always had a great time working together (and we were super productive too!). When she and her husband moved away I was really sad!

Babysitting Oakley overnight while her parents celebrated their anniversary!

She refused to nap.

But they still had fun playing!

Helping Grandpa Parker fix the toilet.

We love the Bean Museum!

Soccer boys!

Cheering for BYU and eating popcorn

I see you...

This a distant shot of the Desales University campus where Sean interviewed a few weeks ago.

My dad gave me the "recipe", more like instructions, on how to make his gravy. It is SO GOOD.

Trying on Daddy's shoes

Run run run run!!

Jolley's Ranch up Hobblecreek Canyon is a great place to play and explore!

We spent the last day of summer at Bryce and Carly's while they had their gender ultrasound!
These kids love getting messy.

Summer, we are sad to see you go! Fall, can you please act like fall and NOT like summer? This preggo is DYING of heat... Sigh.
