Winter 2017/18

This winter started out with the flu for Mason and I, and then Luke got it too. Then there was the end of pregnancy, followed by the birth of our sweet baby girl! Here's a bunch of pics of our adventures from winter!
Mom is a cozy seat...

This kid and cars. He's obsessed. With Cars too.

This kid is too funny! He ripped the pocket out of our library book bag (it was already coming off anyway) and put it on his head!

Park days with friends! Love the random warm weather days in the middle of winter here!

Toys R Us shenanigans!

Mason got Candyland for Christmas and LOVES it!

This kid hardly snuggles with me anymore. I'll take what I can get!

We love trains! Usually Mason will start a track and I will finish it off in a circle for him.

We got a bunch of pots/pans/food for our toy kitchen for Christmas/Luke's birthday!

I can't remember but I think Luke called this an alligator?

More trains!

Luke is FINALLY starting to be okay with nursery! He looked so cute with this crown!

Much needed rain, and a jacket hand me down from a good friend in the ward! It fits him perfectly!

We also bought Mickey Mouse Uno after seeing my sister had it. We love it!

We had some friends from out of town come back to visit! Nothing better than seeing old friends!

Our first "Parkers at the Temple" of 2018!

Martin Luther King Jr. Day hike with the Toone's! Unfortunately, Sean couldn't come because he started his ER rotation that day :/

We bought a new van! It's a 2016 Nissan Quest. Our Highlander was falling apart and we decided to get a new vehicle with more room as opposed to trying to keep fixing it.

Bought the boys umbrellas to weather the rain!

Luke had to get blood work done for his two year check up. He picked Cheetos for his treat after lol

Baby shower! So grateful for my family and friends that came and supported (and spoiled!) baby girl!

Meanwhile, back at the Parker home, Luke and Grandpa got a good snooze in

Then Jenny got to play in the teepee with her nephews!

My dad drove the van up that day, and this was our first family outing in our new van!

Our tracks are getting more elaborate!

We welcomed our new cousin, Vincent, in January! Congrats to Ian, Becca, Eve, and Violet! We can't wait to meet him (hopefully this summer)!

Helping me juice some lemons!

Waiting to pick up daddy!

Ice cream sandwiches!

My babies all end up in the same position: that's her little bum sticking out!

Watch out Gene Kelly, Donald O'Connor and Debbie Reynolds! These three are going to start in the remake of Singin' In The Rain in 15 years! They were dancing around my living room singing the song from the movie!

We love when our days off of school coordinate! Always a great time with Sammy and her kiddos at Wally and Vicki's house!

Making cookies with my little helpers!

"Mom, you need to drink your water!"

Warm weather!

Sean's rotations in January and February were all at the VA hospital (2 weeks ER, 2 weeks inpatient medicine, 4 weeks surgery), and one day we went to pick him up and look at the cool plane they have out front!

I taught them how to ask Siri "What does the fox say?" Our iPad is old and doesn't support the apple updates anymore, so she isn't the newest version of Siri, and still says the answers really funny!

They love riding their scooters!

I made these to protect our new van seats from little boys' muddy shoes and boots.

 Park fun!

I made these for a couple different friends who are both having rainbow babies this spring! I LOVE how they turned out!

Sometimes you have to remember the bad days to look back and think, Oh I guess that wasn't so bad!

Scootering over to see the house that is being built across the street from our complex

Sean's friend stayed on our couch for a week while they had in-class stuff. The boys put him to work reading to them and were excited every time he walked in the door lol!

Zoo days!

We decided to make a bunk bed for the boys! Sean is working with our friend Jeff to build it. The boys are excited for when it is done!

February "Parker's at the Temple"

Mason has a few good friends at his school. It's so fun watching them play together!

I have to wake this boy up from a nap almost every day to pick Mason up.

My family <3 p="">
We bought Mason a new booster seat! He loves it!

I love these goofballs!

We spent our anniversary at the Oakland Temple for my cousin Michelle's wedding! It was such a fun day spent with family!

Trying to beat the winter blues by doing crafts! He did the glue and squares all by himself!

This kid cracks me up!

Mason found a little piece of glass with his palm :( he was so brave!

Learning about galaxies or beetles or one of the other numerous things Mason asks to learn about

We got a new backpack/diaper bag and the boys love wearing it around.

Watching something

More crafts!

Took the boys to lunch after story time!

Surgery days are long days

"Mom! I am messy!"

Snuggles!!

We like exercise!

Mason's on the left, Luke's on the right.
When asked what they painted:
M: "it's a sun with a moon in it!"
L: "ummmm, scriptures!"

Anniversary celebrations!

Poor daddy!

More winter boredom beating. Beads and blocks!

Pedicures with my good friend, 6 days before Cori was born!

This kid. He was screaming and crying, not wanting to nap. So I pulled him into my lap and snuggled and cuddled and scratched his back until he passed out.

I vacuumed under the couch cushions and these guys made a tower to sit on!

Last outing as a family of 4!

My friend Kristi watched the boys and sent me these pics while I was in the hospital

The next day they hung out at my friend Alyson's for a couple hours! So grateful for everyone that helped us out while I was in the hospital!

First night home with Cori!

We love her :)

Hanging out with Grandma Jones!

My friend Jen picked Mason up from school a couple days, and brought her kids over to meet Cori :) Their little brother Henry is due mid-April!

I tried to be fun and let the boys ride scooters but it started raining. Of course.

So we did Legos...

...and Snapchat filters!

Me: "Luke, are you poopy?"
Luke: "Let me check!"

Daddy is fun!

Me: "Sean, you should put some lines of tape down for the boys to jump over"
Not what I was expecting! And of course it turned into car tracks.

What a winter! Can't wait for the adventures that spring brings!
