Summer 2016: Part 2

There were, like, 80 pictures I had "favorited" in photos from the summer, not including the pictures from my brother's wedding so I decided to split the summer update into two posts. Here's part 2!

Finding all the things to keep Mason entertained..

Family park trip

Mason found the headlamp..

All the heart eyes!

Someone else discovered how fun trains are!

Went down to Sunnyvale for Sam's daughter's baby blessing. Such a fun day with family!

Honey of mine!

The boys had absolutely no fun together...

6 months apart!

Like no fun at all.

When he falls asleep on his own..

When you're trapped under a sleeping Sean..

We drove to the Sacramento temple after church one day because Mason wanted to go

More park fun with my boys!

Pinecone painting!

Katie invited us to the San Diego Wild Animal Park for Claire's third birthday, and it happened to fall during Sean's school break so down we went! We stayed at Katie's in Bakersfield the first night, then stayed with Ma and Pa Vongsawad the next two nights!

They both needed a map. Obvs

The whole group!

Katie and I have been friends since 2002! 14 years!

Aaaaand they crashed

These two though...

Love my cute family and one day my kids won't be grumpy for pictures..

Mason's souvenir from the zoo. He LOVES it!

And that wraps up our summer! Now bring on the cooler temperatures of fall (please?)!

Summer 2016: Part 1

We had quite a few different adventures this summer exploring our new neighborhood/city! And Sean had a new adventure starting his PA program. We are loving Sacramento so far!

The train museum became a respite from the heat, and one of Mason's most favorite places ever!

Playing in our friend's backyard.

White coat ceremony! We were living out of a hotel during Sean's orientation week because our apartment wasn't ready for us. Lots of back and forth to my parents house..

Mason was obsessed with Grandpa's truck while we were there!

Where Luke is, Mason goes.. and kisses for mom

Fell asleep with Grandpa! And kisses for Grandma! (That game only lasted until his teeth came in)

Stayed with my cousin Jen one night and we went to Finding Dory, Masons first movie ever!

New car seat!! He calls it his rocket seat!

Target carts!

We live really close to the American River, which makes for some awesome exploring!

"Mom! I made alligator!"

Mason discovered escalators!

The greatest splash park ever! It's in Elk Grove if anyone ever is out this way.

Uncle Cameron came to visit!

We went to a tiny little museum where Mason indulged in all things dinosaurs...

Random raccoon family in Midtown Sac

Brothers playing together! (I still hadn't unpacked/organized at this point!)

Our complex has a pool!! Sadly we didn't take enough advantage of it

Stinky Mason refuses to take a picture but my mom got us a zoo membership, this was our first trip!

The baby giraffe is named Rocket and Mason loves him!
