Christmas 2018

We had a wonderful Christmas season this year! From our first of many Christmas performances, to our ward Christmas breakfast, to "Christmas spirit week" for both Sean and Mason, to the most magical Christmas morning with the boys, it was amazing! I will look back on this Christmas for years as one of my favorites. The genuine excitement from the boys was amazing and special!

Most of all, I was so full of gratitude for my Savior. We were so blessed this last year and reflecting on the year this season, even though the year was stressful, brought so much peace to my heart!

Now for the pictures!
Decorating the tree!

Christmas in Middletown! We walked around the little town filling out a "passport" at different shops, stopped in front of Mason's class's tree, and played with "snow"! Santa drove by on a firetruck, which was noisy but super cool!

The Christmas Elf in Mason's classroom saw him working hard!

I think making Christmas cookies is the best part of Christmas! I took it way easy this year because I can't have chocolate or frosting while nursing Cori. So I didn't make a bunch because I didn't want to be tempted haha.

I made this cape for Sean's office's white elephant gift exchange! We included a jar of salsa too.

Kindergarten Christmas concert! They sang 4 songs, and one of them even used bells! They did such a great job!

Ward Christmas party! Mason was the star, and naturally, Sean put it on too.
And no tears for Santa!

"Ugly sweater day" and "Elf day" for them. I was up til midnight making these. So worth it!

Mason had "Christmas Character day" and I made him a Frosty the Snowman outfit! I had to take one of Sean's white shirts and make it Mason size, which honestly was the hardest part! I made the hat out of cardboard and every step of the way couldn't believe how well it was turning out lol!!

Luke helped me make Christmas cookies for Mason's class to decorate!

Mason helping wrap presents! We had to be sparing with present wrapping this year so Cori wouldn't rip into everything.

The Sunday before Christmas!

We made snowmen on Christmas Eve, then I decided to add snowflakes and give Sean a "white Christmas"! They loved it!

"And to all a good night!"

First Christmas!

The boys coming out and seeing their Santa gifts was absolutely priceless this year! Christmas morning/gift opening went really slow because the boys would open something and play with it for 20 minutes before we would remind them they had more presents to open. It was so fun!

Mason's Christmas crafts he made at school!
