Provo Canyon Fall 2012

I love the colors of fall, but it is bittersweet because it brings the impending doom of winter and snow and ice and all that yucky... Anyway, here are some pics I snapped last a couple weeks ago.

I switched my part to the other side of my head so I didn't go bald. I'm still adjusting. It's weird.

Ward Activity 9/22/12

Our ward had a fall activity where most everyone brought different kinds of soups. I made a taco soup recipe that I got from my old roommate, Elisse; it is the best soup ever. Now I want some...

Anyway, we had a lot of fun hanging out with our primary kids. Maybe too much fun...

Emma with leaves on her head

Don't worry. I had my fair share of leaves in my hair as well.

If I have a fan club (the three girls above), then Sean has one too. Talmage is climbing up Sean's arm, and Dexter is the one grabbing Sean's legs.

How many primary kids does it take to slow Brother Parker down?

After the donut eating contest

Sean helping little M eat her donut. I wish I had the video her mom took. Priceless.

My three girls. This was donut round number 4...

Bridals/Family Pictures

As part of her wedding gift to us, Sean's sister, Jenna, took our engagements and designed our wedding announcement for free. As part of that package, bridals were included. But apparently we are super busy because it took 7 months for me to take bridals. After I changed, she snapped a few fun pictures of Sean and me :) Here are some of my faves (all untouched).

Oh, you like my bouquet? Thanks! My real one is dried, so I bought a potted plan at Macey's for $5 the morning of, found some wedding ribbon, and voila!

Warning, some of the below photos might get a little mushy :)

P.S. Mom, I burned all the bridals onto a CD for you and I promise I will mail it soon...

Lagoon!

Our upstairs neighbor works for NuSkin, so when she told me they were selling tickets to "outsiders" for people to go when Lagoon is rented out for NuSkin employees, we jumped at that! We went with them and another family in the ward, so it was the Parkers, the Proctors, and the Peacocks. It was so fun! It's great acting like a little kid when there are actually little kids around :)

Funny story: Sean and I took the older two Peacock girls on a roller coaster, and then after we got off Sean decided to sit in the stroller and "run" around. The youngest Peacock girl (she's 3) got soooo mad at him for sitting in her stroller. It was hilarious!

Primary Fun

I love my calling. It is so fun to hang out with the primary kids all Sunday long. They love Sean and me. And I'm not just saying that, they really do! Part of what makes primary fun is Sean, he is the primary chorister and the kids adore him! He is so great. The best days are when he brings silly hats for the kids to wear. Here are some pictures of the Chip n' Dale hats we bought at Disneyland on the kids. Enjoy!

Liam (my class, age 10)

Dominic (my class, age 10)

Katie (my class, age 10). This was the day they had to guess who the items she was wearing belonged to (a missionary).

Reagan (age 9)

Eve (my class, age 9)

Ella (age 8)

Talmage, 9 on the left; Katie, my class, 10 on the right. They are siblings

Brooklyn, 11, and Emari, 11
(this was right after Sean said to the kids, "If you are listening touch your nose!")

I love it and I look forward to each Sunday getting my wiggles out with this bunch. They are so fun!

Oh, I have 1 other boy in my class, Caleb. But he wouldn't let me take a picture. He's the youngest of 8 kids, and the 3 above him are boys. Stinker. He has no hope...

Camping - Cherry Campground

A few weeks ago, Sean and I decided to go camping while it was still "warm" enough at night. We ended up getting hardly any sleep because we didn't bring any warm pajamas, thinking our sleeping bags would be warm enough. Nope. Not when it actually got below 40 at night. But we had fun and took a nap the next day.

When we got there, we set up camp, ate some popcorn and played a few rounds of Go Fish and Phase 10, and then went to bed and froze all night long.

Okay, it wasn't that bad.

Good morning sunshine!

Our campsite

Our awesome tent we got as a wedding gift from Sean's cousin. It is much more orange than it looks in this picture.
