3 month-iversary!

P.S. I was going to post this forever ago (or a week and a half ago, whichever is first), but my computer decided to just about died on me. We are taking it up to the Apple store this week to get it fixed. Bummer... Also, can it be a P.S. at the beginning? Oh well. Anyway...

On the 17th, Sean and I had been married for 3 whole months!! It is so interesting to me to think that just 3 months ago we were at the day we had been anticipating for our whole lives, and now it feels like it has been just me and him forever. Being married has been such a blessing for both of us. It is amazing to have my best friend with me all the time, a shoulder to cry on, a permanent Disneyland buddy, a fellow five-year-old goof, and someone to share every moment of every day with. He is the biggest blessing in my life to date and I am so excited for the rest of our lives together. And don't forget eternity...

Enough with the mush. Here is a brief description of what we have been up since my last update post. Sans pictures, of course, because I don't have any of them because they are on my computer that won't wake up:

My birthday: I celebrated my 24th 26th (can I pretend I'm still 24??) birthday with Sean and some of his family, and my sister Jenny came too! Sean got me climbing shoes and a tennis racquet, my family got me the cups and silverware we registered for, and Sean's family got me a holy cow (family joke) and a cake decorating kit! It was a wonderful day, especially since it was Sunday and General Conference.

Climbing outdoors: see my post about this, but we went climbing outside and I am now addicted.

Vacation: We went to Disneyland! And Sea World. And LA. And my parents house. We spent 10 days roaming around (not aimlessly) CA and loved it!

Sean's birthday: Sean turned 24 this month, and he got spoiled. I got him Insanity (ok, I admit, it was a present for me too) and a new french cuff shirt and new cuff links (fancy!). He also got a sno-cone maker, blender ball bottle thing, a book about different diving sites (can't WAIT to try that out) and probably some other stuff. I can't remember.

Insanity: we started Insanity. It's insane. Hence the name. But seriously? We have both come a long way as far as endurance in the last couple of weeks. Yesterday started Week 3. Only 6 more to go!.

Blaze: annoying as ever and does not like to listen. He is stubborn but is a lot of fun and I can't help but love him. His little smile with his tongue hanging out the side is so funny I love it! Any takers for giving him a bath?

Pharmacy: I'm still working externing at Walgreens about 10 hours a week. I wish I was getting paid. And they probably wish I was too, cause I would probably show up more than I do. Sorry guys, but 50 hour work weeks are busy enough!

Physical Therapy and Prosthetics: Sean started working as a physical therapy tech at SOS Physical Therapy in Provo two days a week. About two weeks after he started, he went to a prosthetics office to talk to the prosthetist and see if he could get shadowing hours in. After some deliberation between the prosthetist and his coworkers, they decided it would be more worth their while to hire Sean! He has been shadowing for a few weeks now and loves it! They let him play work on the machines and help make stuff for actually prosthetics for actual patients. Pretty cool for only being there for a couple weeks! He is loving it and is excited for the next year and a half of hands-on training he will be getting.

So, there are a bunch of wedding and Disneyland trip pictures on Facebook. I realized yesterday I have yet to post our Moab trip pictures. Hopefully we get the computer fixed this weekend and I can get those up.

All in all, we love being married and had a fun Memorial Day weekend. Hopefully that post is coming soon. Those pictures are still on my camera. Pray for my computer!!

climbing

Sean loves climbing. When we met, I had never been climbing, indoor or outdoor. It took us until after we were married, but we finally went climbing at the Quarry together. Then, finally last Friday, the weather was warm enough that I didn't chicken out of climbing outside.

 Rock canyon is beautiful!

Sean was so great. He let me climb and climb and climb so I could get used to climbing outside.

Look at that handsome man up there on the wall!

Thanks for taking me climbing Sean!

Oooh and then we went to Maria Bonita's on 800 North and State Street in Orem.
Highly recommended.

tennis pros

Happy birthday to me! Sean got me a tennis racquet for my birthday, so obviously that makes me a professional tennis player right?

Unfortunately no, but we sure had fun playing yesterday!

For reals though, does anyone want to help us learn how to play tennis??
