-when her brothers play peekaboo with her, they are usually extreme and jump up or out from behind things and she thinks it's hilarious!
-when she is in control of the peekaboo game. If she finds a shirt or burp cloth, she will cover her face and play and loves getting a reaction.
Dislikes
-being left alone in a room
-wearing socks. She always pulls them off
-being pulled on/squeezed too hard by her brothers.
Other notables
-started walking on 2/19/19! She still prefers walking on her knees, or crawling, above walking, but she takes steps all the time now!
-trying to cut out her second nap. I'm not ready for that!!
-still slowly eating more, but still nurses a ton. I'm so ready to be done but she doesn't eat enough food yet.
-at her 1 year appointment she was 28.5 inches long and just under 21 lbs.
-if she falls asleep in the car, we have to leave her there. She absolutely does not transfer to her room from the car seat.
First popsicle!
She loves looking out the window.
If Luke leaves his taquitos unattended, she makes a beeline for them.
She put this on her head!
I was trying to get a video of her taking steps. Mason was filming. It didn't work super well.
But then Aunt Jenny came to visit, and she took her first steps for real!
"Helping" with laundry!
She loves the swing!
She LOVES when Daddy plays the guitar.
I made her these pants from an old undershirt of mine!
She was pretty excited for me to push her around on her scooter. I, on the other hand, got real tired real fast hahaha.
I can't even with that cheesy grin!!!
So much love for their sister!
She has become obsessed with bread.
She was still holding this bread and tried to nurse. I told her, "you have to finish your bread before you can nurse" and she SHOVED THE BREAD IN MY MOUTH
But I love her anyway.
Started helping me do the dishes! It takes FOREVER, especially when she tries to unload what I'm loading, but it is so stinkin cute.
My mom came up and spent a couple days with us for Cori's birthday. It was raining so we had a couple lazy days at home. I made a cake that Luke decided needed to be purple, and then Sean decorated it. She got spoiled with gifts and the boys helped her open her presents. Maybe next year she will like opening gifts; Christmas and her birthday, she was not into it. Not even ripping the paper haha.
She picked at pieces of her cake, eating it slowly. She was done after a few minutes.
We love you Cori!! Happy birthday baby girl!
At her 1 year check, she was around the 80% for weight and 60% for height. She's coming down in the weight haha!
