Halloween 2018

We had such a fun Halloween this year! I was able to make Mason and Luke Batman and Superman capes. Well, I was only going to make a Superman one, since we have a Batman cape, but it got packed when we were packing up our house, and was buried somewhere in storage. Oops. So now we have two Batman capes lol. We also bought them matching t-shirts to go with their capes. For our family costume, we made cars out of cardboard boxes, and Sean wore a Star Wars t-shirt, and we were a drive-in! One of my most clever family costume ideas! I also made Cori a Wonder Woman onesie spur of the moment, which got ruined Halloween night by a blowout, so I tossed it haha!!

The Saturday before Halloween, we had our ward trunk-or-treat, which is where we wore our group costume. A little 10 year old from our ward took the picture for us :)

This was the first year we actually went door to door trick or treating! We met up with some of Mason's buddies from school to go trick or treating in the neighborhood around the school. Mason jumped right in with his friends! Luke took about 6 houses to warm up, and I had to go with him, until he felt comfortable. They loved it!

About a week after Halloween, we helped the Toone's carve their pumpkins. Better late than never!!

Such a fun Halloween season!!

Halloween craft from school! He was so proud of it!

The boys reeeeaaaally wanted this Batman mask thing...

Mason's first field trip! They went to the pumpkin patch, and they got to pick out a pumpkin, but they had to pick one they could carry. Of course, Mason picked the biggest one he could carry! His teacher said he was so tired by the time he got back to the bus but he made it! He also opted to sit next to Mrs. Randazzo in that last picture :)

Then of course we had a photo shoot with the pumpkin :)

We went to the pumpkin patch with the Thayer's! Always a good time picking out pumpkins!

I made the boys' costumes again this year. They wanted to be Batman and Superman. I'm really impressed with how well I free-handed the logos! This was also the first project I used the iron on applique stuff!

"We're stuck in the spiderwebs!!" They weren't really but they sure had fun pretending!

This was the "smile" picture haha

Hay ride!

She insisted on pulling them! That's 75 lbs plus the weight of the wagon!

Voila! I finished their costumes the day before the trunk or treat. Or maybe the day of! Probably the day of haha. And then made 3 cardboard cars.

We are a drive-in!

Luke and Cici!!

Carving our pumpkins!

"Mom! I have too many hands!" He has one of those sticky hand things in his hand, and then Lizzy jumped behind him!

Trick or treating!
