Here's what he has been up to in the last few months!
Likes:
-animals, mostly dos. He chases them and would seriously follow them home if we let him
-face timing family, especially if Grandpa Jones is on the other end.
-bath time and splashing EVERYWHERE. Think 3 towels worth of mopping when they are done in the bath...
-jumping, spinning, climbing, running in circles, scootering, pretty much moving in any way! Sean's family used to say Sean was trying to move in a way he had never moved before, and boy oh boy did that get passed on to this kid.
-high fives and fist bumps.
-climbing on a chair and watching me cook, which is why he knows the words "hot" and "don't touch"
-"cooking". He will pull out pots and pans and mixing spoons and sit between all of them and stir the air in the pots. Or if we leave something out on the table or counter, chances are its gonna go everywhere while he "cooks".
Dislikes:
-eating. He's not a big eater. I finally weaned him this week so hopefully his appetite picks up once he realizes he can't fall back on that anymore. And now that I'm thinking about it, he loves casserole type dishes and soups. No bread, so no pb&j for this kid. The only "kid food" he will eat is chicken nuggets.
-hates when Mason steals his toys. We are working on this one...
-being helped. He wants to do everything himself. He is SO independent!
Other notables:
-last molar came through in mid April!
-says mama, dada, grampa, dog, ball, bubble, stick, hot, ha cha cha, duck, rock, drink, and makes noises for lion/tiger, dog, snake and duck. When we ask him to say what an animal says, he says the animal name again instead of the noise! Pretty funny!
-favorite songs: wheels on the bus, pigeon house, popcorn popping, the songs from Moana, Goofy Movie, and Singin' In The Rain, happy and you know it, and Nephi's courage
-favorite foods: cheerios, tortilla chips, goldfish, apples, chewy granola bars, creamy soups, spaghetti
-watches whatever Mason watches on tv, but really likes Mickey Mouse and Baby Einsteins
We love this kid!

Monkey, and sleepy monkey
This one is from the beginning of April. His hair has grown so much in the last few months!

He's such a happy guy!
And a total cheeser! This is after I showed him how to use the scooter for the first time.
American River trail, and sleeping in church. I took one every Sunday it happened for a while because I knew one of them would soon be the last.
Seriously SUCH a happy guy! And always so proud of himself.
