So Sean had never been to Sea World. I hadn't been in quite a few years. We both really like LOVE the ocean. Like, we just bought Blue Planet on blu-ray this weekend for father's day. So we were both really, really, REALLY excited! Plus, lets be honest. Both of us are 5 years old. And what 5 year old doesn't like running around seeing really cool animals all day? And petting a dolphin?? Get outta town, we can actually do that?? Yep :) we had a blast!
Get ready for a whole slew of fishy pictures...
Sean and I woke up and this is how we found our suits. Sean swears he didn't do it on purpose...
Our tickets! P.S. AAA members get a major discount at Sea World.
Pet the dolphin!
Both of us!
Sean's new best friend
Watching the Sea Otters
Tired, but still so excited to be at Sea World!
Super Seamore!
This was the first time we saw the sea lion show.
Time for tricks!
He was supposed to go up and over, only the ball did...
"So You Think You Can Dance?" by Clyde. Tango obviously...
Time for the Killer Whale Shamu show! (Shamu sounds so much nicer than killer whale...)
Hello friends!
Hey mom! Look what I can do!
They made the shamu show very environmentalist. And the trainers can't go in the water anymore. Still good though!
LOVE all the colors!
Jellies?! Sweeeet, totally!
I can't hear ya, Peach!
Think of how much more I could eat with a jaw like that........
I can't tell who is more confused; Sean or the fish. Probably the fish.
"It's sucking my face off!!"
Come here, squishy!
Sean said that is the best burger he's ever eaten in his life.
My sandwich was pretty good too I guess.
Of course we ate next to the sea turtles!
Crem de la crem of the meal: behold the mighty Shamu tail rice krispie! Delish!
Sean got into a staring match with that seagull. And won.
That guy was trying to escape. Gee that's funny, that sounds a lot like the word escape!
Dolphin show!
(Everything after the shamu show was taken on my iPhone because my real camera died.)
So beautiful!
Brian Regan anyone? "Do that little dolphin dance across the pool? Towel your feet off at the other end? That would impress some people at the public pool!"
Hello friends!
New dream job: dolphin trainer
You betcha we saw the sea lion show again. It was hilarious!
The cape stayed on this time.
Diving!
OP otter! Our favorite part of the day.
Hey! He made it up and over!
150 dude! And still young!
We like fish :)
Shark tank!
I love when you walk under them. So creepy and cool.
That thing could swallow Sean whole..
Penguins!
"You don't have to be rich to be my girl..." Happy Feet, anyone?
Puffins!
This whale was so funny. If you look close you can see the stream of water above his head; he would spit it out of his mouth, catch it, go back under water, and come back up and do it again. Seriously we watched for at least 5 minutes, it was so funny!
Practicing for his future as a rug?
This is all we saw of the walrus.
Playing in the polar bear caves!
And this whale had an itch or something because he kept swimming flips ad scratching his back against the rock.
Manta rays. I swear you used to be able to pet them...
Ducks!
Shamu car!
Such a fun day! We got a bit sunburned but the good outweighed the bad. Best part? Sean, for three weeks after, couldn't stop talking about the dolphin. Best day of his life? Quite possibly :)
From Sea World we headed up to Moreno Valley to spend the night at my cousin Sean's house. When we got there they fed us dinner and then we stayed up playing with their cute kids, and then talking to him and Juliet after the kids went to bed. Thanks guys for letting us crash at your house!
Cameron and I are moving to San Diego in July and you just gave me something to be super excited for!!! I can't wait to go to Sea World! It's been way too long! Great pics, Hayley!
