Yeah yeah, slacker right here. But I wanted to edit the pictures before I posted them.
Anyway, for Thanksgiving Sean and I drove, with Blaze, to my parents house in King City, CA.
On the way, we stopped and had dinner at Chipotle with my best friend/sister from high school.
Love you Katie Bono!
She snapped this as we were driving away :)
We got to my parent's house that night and were greeted by 4 big people (Mom, Dad, Jenny, and Tim), 2 big dogs (Sandi and Rocky) and 5 puppies! Freaking adorable...
Thanksgiving day we just hung out and had really yummy food, thanks Mom!
Feel free to pin this as an idea for visiting teaching gifts next Thanksgiving. Hehe
I did some research about California parks/hikes close to my parents house, so on Friday, Tim Sean and I headed over to Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park. It was as beautiful as the website said it was! (Get ready for a LOT of pictures.)
We had stopped at Safeway to get sandwiches for lunch from the deli, and this is where we ate. By the coast, and by some fun climbing trees.
Awww, brothers-in-law!
They don't let you go down to the waterfall. Lame.
Sean looks like Patrick Dempsey in this picture. So handsome!
On Saturday, we met up with my cousin Sam and her husband Ben and went to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and had lunch. We didn't find out until later, but they had just found out they were pregnant! And now in a few months she is going to have twin boys!! (Get ready for a LOT more pictures. PS. Sam, why did we not take any pictures of all 5 of us??)
Before we left. It was still early.
Oh, and you better believe we quoted Finding Nemo the whole way through the aquarium.
Tim with a bat ray.
Sean with the bat ray.
"I can't hear ya Peach!"
We are standing in this cool walk-through thing where there is water all around you and it swooshes through the tank. It was cooler than I just made it sound, don't worry.
We should have taken the picture before we went in, when that sign was still in the shade...
Seahorses! "Jellies! Sweeeeet." "Totally"
Sharks!!!
"Kids! Get out of Mr. Johanssen's yard! Now!
We drove home after the aquarium and pretty much just laid around.
On Sunday we drove back to Utah. Dang school and work...
Blaze does pretty well in the car.
St. George gave us a gorgeous sunset. Too bad we were heading the wrong direction to get some really good pictures.
It was such a fun trip. I want to live on that coastline, sooo beautiful!
Looks like a great time! And SO steeling that turkey idea for my ladies! LOL!
