Cousin's camp in Soledad!

In July, Carly flew out with her two kiddos and stayed at my parent's house for a week, so I drove down so Mason and Oakley could play together! We did lots of fun things; a day in San Francisco, Morro Bay, and a brief aquarium trip.. These kids are so cute together, and it will be so much fun to watch Grant and Luke grow up and start making mischief together!
Off we go!

Cousins!

My mom bought two baby dolls (smart) and these two took very good care of them!

July 22nd

This was at the California Academy of Science, a pretty cool museum! Complete with albino crocodile, 4 story rainforest exhibit, taxedermy animals and penguins!

Then we went into San Francisco! I love SF, we went quite a few times when I was a kid, and then we went every year for choir, and for some reason getting out of the car (well parking garage) felt very homey! We ate dinner and looked at the sea lions, and then bought some sourdough!

July 23

We went down to Morro Rock/Bay and hung out on the beach, and then had dinner at Giovanni's! I was SO BUMMED because Luke can't handle his dairy yet, which means I have to back off creamy soups, so I couldn't have the clam chowder, but that didn't stop me from eating a bite or two! Also Oakley and Mason - so cute! Oh and Mason's pants? Luke's 12 month jeans. I grabbed the wrong pair. Oops!

July 24

Aunt Carly gave Luke some sourdough crust and he went to town!

He was sitting on the couch and pulled himself to this position and grabbed my phone off the side table! Stinker!

Oakley put this hat on him!

July 25

We decided to take the kids to the aquarium! (Because the museum we were going to go to was closed). Everyone was good...

Aunt Hayley for the win this time...

5 minutes of oohs and ahhs

And then all hell broke loose. Both kids were crazy and both babies were hungry and so we left.

That night.. cute little cousins!

Carly and I made this for our sister, Jenny, for her upcoming birthday! From left to right, the foot prints are Grant, Oakley, Luke, and Mason. Carly painted the sun and I hand painted the letters. It turned out SO GOOD!

And that was our trip! The next morning I went back to Sacramento, to continue the unpacking saga.

For Mason's birthday, my parents came up and we went to the CA State Fair! Poor Sean had to study all day, so I'm glad my parents were able to come hang out! We ate yummy food, saw the animals, Mason rode some rides, and overall got very spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa Jones!

My little birthday boy!

"Grandma! My room!" He wouldn't let her leave.

As per his recent obsession with Little Einstein's (which I LOVE, he walks around humming Beethoven's 5th, and knows all his instruments now), I made him a Rocket cake!

His favorite animal exhibit. He "cheep cheep!"-ed right along with them

No pictures mom, please

Luke rode around on my dad's lap most of the time, I of course snapped the picture right as my mom was going to hand my dad a churro haha.

Birthday boy riding rides!

My future polite driver "uh excuse me, please use your blinker"

Luke chillin while big bro rides.

Ahoy matey!

Train!!

I rode in the helicopter with him! He was a great pilot.

"It's a HUGE helicopter!"

He fell asleep as we were heading back to the parking lot.

Mom and I rode the little shuttle to the car.

Cake!

Books from Grandma Jones. (She also got us a zoo membership!)

We got Mason some play dough toys and a remote controlled Thomas. He loves it!

Happy 3rd birthday Mason! We sure love you!
